The Coca-Cola Company Global Supplier & Distribution Standards Manager in Ciudad de México, Mexico
The Global Supplier and Distribution Standards Manager is responsible for delivering Technical Operations for Mexico (and South America's) and supporting the development and implementation of Global Technical Distribution standards across all Platforms . Develops and delivers step change process where relevant to drive continuous improvement in Quality and Food Safety governance and ongoing legal compliance. Ensures Technical compliance gaps are identified and escalated to Supply Chain and Technical Leadership as necessary, and works with Regional Technical contacts to deliver solutions, build capability and provide training for Regions.
Key activities include:
Responsible for Technical approval and monitoring of locally managed suppliers and distributors escalating risk where appropriate to the Regional Supply Chain, Procurement and Marketing Teams.
Responsible for identification of Food Safety and Quality product risk and ensuring effective management to either, eliminate, mitigate, or escalate to the Senior Technical Operations Manager or Global Head of Technical Operations where appropriate.
Manages supplier performance through Technical KPI reporting and targets, escalating where required to the Senior Technical Operations Manager, Procurement and Marketing team's.
Drives continual improvement of supplier standards through regular supplier reviews, development, implementation, and monitoring of improvement plans.
Delivers seamless Campaign launches with new and renovated products.
Responsible for product specification management and accuracy.
Implements the Technical commercialisation process for regionally developed/launched product.
Responsible for ensuring suppliers deliver consistent product to the agreed specification throughout the product life cycle.
Supports product area Technical IMCR investigations, e.g., Supplier investigation following incidents and consumer complaints including effective Root Cause Analysis with sustainable corrective actions.
Support continued development and enhancement of Costa Global Technical, Supplier and Distributions standards to ensure continuous improvement.
Ensures Technical compliance gaps are identified and works with Regional Technical contacts to deliver solutions, build capability and provide training for Regions where appropriate.
Responsible for identification of Technical risk and ensuring effective management to either, eliminate, mitigate or escalate to the Global Capabilities Manager and Global Technical Director where appropriate.
Drives Technical performance with data driven decisions via metrics and targets, reporting and governance reviews with Regional Supply Chain team.
Ensure standards are in place for approval and monitoring of Global Suppliers, Roasteries and Distribution warehouses .

Regional business and project managers and business platform leads
Regional Executive team.
Global Franchisee, Supplier & Distribution Standards Manager, Regional Head of Supply Chain, , Regional Technical teams,
Relevant SC, Procurement, Supplier contacts.
External stakeholders and Industry Bodies.
Knowledge- Essential & Desirable
(Expert understanding)
Degree in either Science of Food Science related subject preferable
Formal Food Hygiene and Allergen training
Formal Hazard Analysis Critical Control point qualification level 4
Good understanding of Allergen management in Supply Chain and Stores.
Formal training in Quality systems management e.g., IS0 9001, FSCC 2200, BRC Food standard, BRC Distribution standard, IFS Food Quality Management
Product Quality Management
Distribution Quality Management
Experience of working in non UK markets.
Experience of overseas travel and managing own travel schedule
Training in basic Food law.

(Proven expertise)
5 years experience of working in a High risk Food production/operation environment e.g. Chilled RTE
Track record of working with stakeholders in non UK countries
Experience of communication and liaising with teams across the world.
The ability to work remotely and to be a team player.
Experience of working with multi skilled teams.
Ability to be persistent when requesting information.
Ability to travel worldwide.
Ability to travel to Costa offices.
