Position Overview:

  • Responsible for the accuracy of financial information according to US-GAAP and MX FRS, provide support to Business initiatives from accounting and internal control perspectives, Tax compliance, Unconsolidated Investment and New Joint Ventures accounting support, control of Company assets to guarantee its safeguard.

  • Manage Financial Information

  • Ensure compliance with both US-GAAP and MX-FRS

  • Risk Management

  • Tax Calculations, Current and Deferred Income Tax and Employee Profit Sharing.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Unconsolidated Investment activities: budget and actuals for equity income, dividends, equity reconciliation, Gross Profit Inventory Elimination.

  • Release financial information for different entities understanding accounting treatment for trial balance, cash flow, operating capital, related parties, non-controlling interest.

  • COGS and inventory analysis under Buy Sell Model

  • Insurance policies negotiation and administration for Cars, General Liability, Transit.

  • Bails knowledge for premium negotiation and risk administration.

  • Financial support to new Legal Entities acquired or created.

  • Work in Operating Excellence initiatives.

  • Buy Sell Model administration

  • Close involvement in tax compliance for current and deferred calculations, including Employee Profit Sharing.

Related Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum expertise in the field of 5 years.

  • Advanced English Proficiency

  • Management Skills: results-driven approach, technical expertise in Accounting for US-GAAP and MX-FRS, Corporate Taxes, financial analysis, stock market understanding (shares prices, EPS), project administration.

  • Service Client approach, communication, interaction with personnel, customers, suppliers and partners, work team and personnel development.

  • Business understanding for financial impacts through the Company.

Educational Requirements:

  • Public Accountant or similar

  • Continuous updating in tax law and accounting principles and standards

  • Financial and Treasury understanding.

  • Information System tools knowledge, SAP, Office
