RGP Sr Billing Analyst in Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico
Our client is looking to bring Talent aboard their Billing and AR Team. This high performing group is looking for experience in hugly transactional and fast paced environments along with great personalities and communication skills.
• Ensure continuity of the billing process by working closely with the Revenue Accounting team in support of the ease and timeliness for the accounting of revenue.
• Approve, reconcile, and oversee all pre-billing requests and other manual invoice requests for their region, revenue adjustments, customer accounts receivable write-offs, issuances of credit notes, and invoice adjustments by established policies specifically for LatAm, International, and intercompany.
• Prepare and send out monthly transmission reports to sales planners and review monthly deferred revenue, unapplied cash, and intercompany B/S reconciliations and roll forwards. Ensure general ledger account information is accurate, consistent, traceable, and auditable.
• Ensure all Process the DLA month-end close which includes recording the invoice deferred revenue, intercompany ad sales billing, and unapplied cash to the appropriate general ledger accounts as well as ensure that all journal entries have appropriate supporting documentation and approval before recording in SAP
• Oversee billing and controls in their specific Latam region including those performed by local finance teams and/or third-party accounting firms in the decentralized regional offices.
• Participate in continual process improvements, implementation of technologies that will provide innovative solutions for billing systems, report design, automation, review, and implementation of industry best practices.
• Monitor compliance with SOX controls and policies, including system controls for media system(s), for control documentation.
• Clear understanding and working knowledge of GAAP along with local billing rules and regulations that impact billing practices.
a) Minimum of 7 to 10 years of O2C experience, with at least 5 years of experience supervising a staff of 2 or more including individual contributors.
