About Position:

The candidate we are looking for is a Software Engineer who will play a key role in the Oracle Observability and Management platform.

About Job Description:

Oracle Cloud Observability and Management Platform, is a comprehensive set of monitoring, management, diagnostic, and analytics services. It enables visibility and insight across cloud native and traditional technology, whether deployed in multi-cloud or on-premises environments, with broad, standards-based ecosystem support. Its designed to help enterprises better manage their increasingly diverse and distributed IT portfolios, while reducing troubleshooting time, preventing outages, and enabling IT to manage applications from a business perspective.

The candidate will:

have experience in Oracle products like database, middleware and analytic products.

should have ablity to debug for cloud applications, databases, networks, etc...

collaborate with engineering teams across the globe to understand the product functionalities and use cases.

work closely with product architect, peer group as well as members of different development organizations.

Ability to participate in technical discussions and communicate clearly.

Knowledge in Scripting skills (in Java, Python, Shell or equivalent)

Responsibilities:

Leading contributor and a team player. Will be required to provide direction and mentor other team members.

Deploy and test setup for components and sub-systems of Oracle Observability and Management software.

Contribute to the analysis of reports and dashbaord with respect to the Oracle products.

*The candidate must be available to work on weekends if required.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will interface with the customer's IT staff on a regular basis. Either at the client's site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You should be highly experienced in some Oracle products and several platforms that are being supported. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status.
