Citigroup BANAMEX Infrastructure Analyst 1 - C09 - CIUDAD DE MEXICO in Ciudad De Mexico, Mexico
The Infrastructure Analyst 1 is an entry level role responsible for assisting with LAN / WAN and help desk administration activities, including network maintenance, technical guidance, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve problems through troubleshooting and basic analysis, escalate issues as appropriate
Participate in testing activities, including the creation and execution of basic test scripts
Apply comprehension of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives
Assess the applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures
Exchange ideas and information in a concise and clear manner
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Previous relevant experience preferred
Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
Demonstrated knowledge of operational process changes and improvement
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Job Purpose: Responsible for the Business profile administration and integration of Massive deployment of Horizontal / Vertical software to Desktops and VDI instances across Banamex. Liaison with business areas and responsible for coordinating Change Requests, support for incident tickets related to a mass software deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business profile coordination
Ensuring testing is done before sending an application to production
Ensure that the Business is aware of the applications to be distributed
Target penetration of 99% of the teams in a distribution
Report progress to the Requester of each distribution
Review Pending equipment and coordinate actions to solve detected problems
Ensure the implementation adhered to the process so as not to generate MIMs derived from the implementation
coordination to attention to problems generated to return to the previous status in case of a failed distribution
Be aware of all the Distributions for Mexico and Latam, to prevent Impacts
Analyze together with Production Support of Branches and Contact Center to see which is the best Date to send each wave
Be in contact with CSC and Field Service to review status of the implementation
Knowledge/Experience:
Technology Management (specifically Desktop technology infrastructure)
Microsoft Products/OS, desktop and servers
knowledge of SCCM
Knowledge of business Operation
Knowledge of the applications of Operation System
Knowledge of the policies that apply to the desktop infrastructure
Problem and incident management
Working in a heavily controls-focused environment
Management of green zones to distribution
Knowledge of Scripts for repair and reinstallation of Applications
Management of Distribution Points infrastructure
Management of reporting infrastructure through SCCM
Management of tools for the generation of reports
Qualifications:
Desired but not mandatory Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Engineer or related careers or experience equivalente
English writing / reading / spoken by 50%
2 years of experience in desktop plataform
