Citigroup SVP - Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) and Market Risk Data and Tech Transformation Senior Analyst (Hybrid) in City of Taguig, Philippines

Risk Data and Technology (RD&T) is part of Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Group within Independent Risk Management and is responsible for developing and implementing data and technology solutions to deliver on our regulatory commitments, transforming data, processes, and technology to achieve a generational shift in Risk Management practices.

Trading Book Data Transformation and Market Risk (TBT&MR) Data & Tech. group within RD&T is responsible for Trading Book Transformation (Counterparty Credit Risk and Price Risk), and Market Risk Operations and Technology Solutions. The TBT&MR group is accountable for delivering Regulatory Business Critical Milestones, delivering fit for purpose data for risk measurement and reporting, and automating Risk Management.

The Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) and Market Risk Data and Tech Transformation Senior Analyst is responsible for enabling the end-to-end execution and/or adoption of the Data Transformation plan in compliance with Citi’s Data Governance Policy, focuses on work efforts to demonstrate risk reduction and facilitate adherence to the Citi Data Governance Policy. This position has an impact on the business by engagement with stakeholders to address data quality issues that will benefit end users in risk reporting and risk management. These include identify critical data elements, setup data quality monitoring scorecard and create measurable risk reduction matrices that are meaningful to end users (risk report and risk management).

This position requires a thorough understanding of enterprise data governance concepts, combined with practical experience of implementing them in a complex organization. Excellent communication skills are required to influence internally, often at a senior level.

In this role, you are expected to:

  • Ensure timely and accurate definition and execution of Risk requirements according to the Citi Data Operating Model (DOM):

  • Support definition of scope, risk reduction metrics, issues, and data requirements for Risk, including Wholesale, Retail, Price, and Operational Risk Types.

  • Monitor delivery of Tactical and Strategic Fixes as required by the Citi Data Operating Model (DOM) for Risk use-cases. Support testing and documentation of successful fix implementations.

  • Provide Risk input to adoption RBCM deliverables, including Data Lineage, Authoritative Repository designation and Data Certification.

  • Ensure all audit artifacts are complete and accurate. Support IA Validations.

  • Monitor progress against risk reduction metrics linked to the Risk use-cases; documenting and escalating any risks, issues or challenges that might impact our ability to meet those targets.

  • Monitor BAU issues raised outside of the Consent Order via the Data Concern Remediation Management process to ensure that issues are appropriately prioritized and addressed.

Ideally, you should have the following qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in risk and/or finance information analytics, preferable with implementation of data management related initiatives.

• Ability to work across all levels of management and across functions to accomplish the mission.

• Knowledge of risk management and reporting processes and an understanding of various Risk categories, including Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk and Operational Risk. Experience in risk data, risk and financial platform implementations and managing risk systems.

• Ability to influence senior Risk, Finance, and business stakeholders. Ability to effectively communicate, both upwards and downwards, across organizational levels.

• Flexible, team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Master’s Degree preferred. Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
