About the Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Portfolio Account Manager
The Portfolio Account Manager will be responsible for the management of an assigned portfolio of accounts. This will primarily include the provision of customer service and risk management..
In this role you will:
Manage the day-to-day customer relationship to ensure smooth running of the account
Manage customer inquiries, payment performance and disputes
Oversee growth opportunities and recommend improvements for customer satisfaction
Resolve complex customer inquiries, billing errors, payment performance and disputes
Perform financial analysis of customers in underwriting
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers
Various internal reporting requirements.
Manage credit line submission to Credit
Visit key dealers and manufacturers
Engage in cross functional project and report out to management team
Manage soft collections
Required Qualifications:
- Account Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Background in Finance / Banking / Factoring / Customer Service
Customer Service Orientation - acts to help or serve customers, focusing efforts on discovering and meeting their needs
Communication skills - ability to relay required information clearly and succinctly to the customer; ability to listen to the customer and answer queries in a clear, diplomatic and articulate manner; communicate directly with customers, vendors, sales reps, Risk contacts, & relationship managers
Microsoft products – excel, word, power point, outlook
Understand products/services offered
Work within the framework of company regulations e.g. data protection, ensuring compliance at all times
Fluent French is desired but not required.
Speaking French is a plus but not a requirement
