Robert Half Staff Accountant in City of Industry, California

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Accounting: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes

  • Manufacturing Cost Accounting: Maintain and analyze cost accounting records for manufacturing operations, including inventory valuation, variance analysis, and standard costing.

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring all data aligns with GAAP principles

  • Audit Support: Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.

  • ERP System Use: Operate and maintain ERP software to record accounting data efficiently

    Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field is required.

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups).

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work within strict deadlines.

  • Working knowledge of financial reporting and GAAP compliance.
