Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. In this key role, you will oversee the procurement of materials, manage inventory levels, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services to support our manufacturing operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to optimizing supply chain performance while maintaining cost efficiency.

Duties

Procurement and Planning

• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery, and pricing standards are met.

Inventory and Planning

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure adequate stock for manufacturing needs.
• Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, lead times, and capacity.
• Identify and address potential supply chain disruptions to minimize impact on operations.

Cost Management and Analysis

• Analyze spending trends and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Prepare and maintain budgets for procurement and inventory management.

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and ISO 9001.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and inventory movements.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to address material needs and specifications.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding inventory status, supplier issues, and cost analysis.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement management or supply chain roles.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, logistics, and contract management practices.
• Familiarity with quality management principles and production planning processes.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP software and other procurement tools.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
