Job Overview Assist with the operation and/or maintenance of plant equipment and systems (i.e., boilers, turbine generators, chillers and associated auxiliary utility plant systems). Essential Functions Assist with the operation and maintenance of boilers, chillers, and auxiliary equipment (i.e., blowers, flow meters, pumps, generators, fans and related equipment). Perform wet chemistry bench testing, equipment chemical addition, and data entry of all testing and chemical results and information as directed. Maintain a safe and efficient power plant operation, including compliance with all plant safety policies and procedures. Maintain plant cleanliness at all times. Make rounds of plant reading gauges and observing operation of equipment; starts and stops equipment as directed. Perform minor maintenance functions as directed. Perform related or less skilled duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
