Job Description

Shift: Monday - Wednesday Day Shift

Location/Division Specific Information:

The Cincinnati, OH site is a Center of Excellence for specialized oral solid dose manufacturing and drug development within the Pharma Services Group.

How Will You Make an Impact?:

The Senior Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing has all materials, commodities, equipment, and reusable containers needed to produce the required batches scheduled daily. You will be responsible for staging materials and managing their flow through the manufacturing space. You will also be a part of maintaining inventory accuracy and performing systematic transactions to accurately reflect all of the material movements.

A Day in the Life:

• Prepares manufacturing areas and equipment for the production of pharmaceutical products to include: movement of containers, equipment, product, and cleaning of equipment and tools.

• Maintains accurate, neat, error free records such as GMP records and logbooks.

• Accurately follows production documents, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs)

• Identifies safety, quality, and efficiency improvements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field

• Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to disassemble and reassemble hoppers and totes

• Basic reading comprehension and math skills necessary to follow complex technical instructions

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Ability to manipulate/handle drums weighing up to 110 kg and lift containers weighing up to 40 kg.

• Job requires wearing personal protective equipment to include white zone gowning requirements
