Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the metal fabrication industry, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring financial accuracy by managing the general ledger, preparing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records

• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations (assets, liabilities, inventory)

• Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting

• Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to perform your duties

• Contribute to a manufacturing environment through your understanding of general ledger accounting principles

• Employ your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues

• Leverage your proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for tasks such as V-lookups and pivot tables.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar position.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is required.

• Experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries is necessary.

• Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures is essential.

• Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software is required.

• Must have a strong understanding of the Metal Fabrication industry.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills are required.

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

• Professional certification such as CPA is preferred.

• Must have a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is essential.

• Must have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
