GE Aerospace Services Manufacturing Engineering Digital Architecture Leader in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description Summary

Accountable for the delivery of Services Manufacturing Engineering (SME) digital vision. Driving the common digital architecture vision for the SME business, working closely with Digital Council and Digital team to provide a full-stack digital system supporting on-wing and MRO inspection tooling.

Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Accelerate a pipeline of digital applications to realize identified business value.

  • Work closely with the Digital Council, SME and Digital leaders, engineers and program managers to deliver the SME digital vision.

  • Work closely with the inspection tooling development organizations (including OC Robotics, GARC and GEAR) to deliver the digital architecture that enables their deliveries.

  • Drive a common architecture for all SME digital inspection needs.

  • Build efficient and robust QA process and design practice that ensure the needs of the business are met quickly and cost-effectively whilst not sacrificing quality, security and compliance.

  • Priorities development based on delivering iterative business value while building architecture for the longer-term pipeline and vision.

  • Manage the large numbers of requirements from customers, experts and other international stakeholders involved in the projects.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of related experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in modern cloud architecture such as AWS.

  • 5+ years of experience in modern digital use practices.

  • 5+ years of experience working with multiple project deliveries.

Desired Characteristics :

  • Full stack certified.

  • Experience with AI and cloud-based analytics.

  • Experience with working with large image datasets and metadata.

  • Experience with embedded software and Edge technologies.

  • Experience with cybersecurity.

  • Experience with data compliance.

  • Experience working with a broadly-skilled international team.

  • Ability to influence across teams, disciplines and various seniorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent presentation skills.
