GENERAL FUNCTION:

Responsibilities include those of a Senior Finance Manager as well as supporting the top Investor Relations executive in managing, developing, and improving relations and communications between the organization and its shareholders, the investing public and other members of the financial community, including financial analysts and institutional investors. Provide competitive analysis of other bank and peer institutions to be used for strategic planning and decision making by senior management. Provide support for CCAR, capital planning, stress test and living will efforts of the Bancorp.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage relationships with investors along with Director of Investor Relations and others so authorized.

  • Create and manage models used internally to analyze banks across a wide variety of measurements so that the bank can better assess its successes, set goals, and gain competitive intelligence.

  • Monitor and assess changes and trends in ownership of the company's stock.

  • Use analytics to proactively market the bank to the investor community.

  • Develop investor presentations and speeches for senior management.

  • Support the CFO and the financial office in preparation of and evaluation of CCAR, capital planning, stress testing and living will efforts.

  • As necessary, support the Compensation department by providing compilation and analysis of peer results, and measurement against those to gauge company performance.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar experience required. MBA, CPA, CFA or similar certification preferred.

  • Minimum of eight years of financial analytics experience. A solid background in the financial industry from e.g. accounting, banking, equity research, or corporate development.

  • Proficient with MS-Windows and other related PC applications.

  • This position requires excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with personnel ranging from clerical staff to executive management and institutional investors.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in performance measurement tools and technology.

  • Ability to work both as a self-starting individual and as a member of a team.

  • Ability to maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management/completion of multiple tasks and/or crisis management.

  • Demonstrate sound judgment as well as apply logical/critical thought processes.

  • Ability to communicate and explain complicated financial issues internally and externally.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.

  • Extended viewing of CRT screen.
