Phillips Edisons operating platform provides retail services including acquisition, redevelopment, leasing and management of grocery-anchored retail centers.
What you'll do:
- - Assist with preparation of SECreporting, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K

``` - - Collaborate withpersonnel across departments to ensure all necessary schedulesand deliverables needed for financial statement preparation are provided on time and are accurate

``` - - Prepare schedules forexternal auditors and respond to requests for information; respond to auditor comments and requests in a timely fashion

``` - - Work with Legaland Investor Relations departments to supply required financial data for the preparation of Form8-Ks, earnings releases, investor supplements, and press releases

``` - - Assist with the creation and maintenance of general ledger accounts including financial presentation

``` - - Develop and maintainjob processes and procedures
```{=html}
``` - - Appropriately documentand maintain all support necessary as part of maintaining internalcontrols over financial reporting

``` - - Keep abreast ofaccounting developments and stay up-to-date on the most recent accounting standard updates

``` - - Other duties asassigned, such as ad hoc internalreporting requests
What we're looking for:
- - Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience preferred

``` - - CPA or meets the requirements to sit for the CPA exam preferred
```{=html}
``` - - Detail-oriented and able to meet a standard of precision that allows us to fulfill our reporting obligations to investors and to the SEC

``` - - 2 to 3 years of experiencein public accounting with SEC clients, SEC reporting, or equivalentexperience in corporate accounting preferred

``` - - Experience with MRI and/or Wdesk is preferred
```{=html}
``` - - Excellent computer and analytical skills including a proficiency in Excel
```{=html}
``` - - Excellent written and verbal communications skills
```{=html}
``` - - Ability to organize andprioritize projects; complete multiple tasks on schedule
```{=html}
``` - - Ability to workextended hours as needed in order to meet quarterly and monthly deadlines
