GENERAL FUNCTION : Assumes day to day responsibilities for retail design program, coordinating with architectural firms , project team , and key internal partners to design and execute retail projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with architectural partners to guide design and apply kit of parts for retail environments throughout all phases of the design process (site planning through project punch and beyond).

• Ensure the best and most on-brand experience is provided for each project

• Consistently evaluate program and elements to develop opportunities for improvement with Retail Design Lead.

• Act as liaison to retail team to understand internal programming needs for retail locations while keeping the team updated and informed .

• Work with property management team , disseminating standards for asset preservation projects as well as a ct ing as a resource to provid e design guidance for one-off requests as needed.

• Act as a resource to real estate transaction managers during deals , giving feasibility recommendations and advising on design possibilities

• Develop and maintain signage standards. R eview signage packages to determine “best foot forward ”

• A pprove E xperiential G raphic D esign and art details

• Work with furniture vendors and design architects to consistently update and maintain standard s, packages, etc.

• Keen eye for Furniture and Finish Selections

• Assume additional related responsibilities as assigned.

  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None

  MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Strong design sensibilities, seeing space as the context for a holistic human experience

• Strong understanding of human behavior in retail environments

• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and strategy, verbally and visually

• Natural collaborator, able to draw others along toward viable solutions

• Ability to work together with A+D firms is required

• Understanding of retail banking procedures , history, and trends is a plus

• S ketching skills preferred --ability to communicate design ideas quickly

• Design or architecture degree (BS or BA) or equivalent experience required

• Strong understanding of Experiential G raphic D esign is helpful

• Retail design experience or project leadership skills required

• Minimum six to eight ( 6 - 8 ) years of ex perience is required

• Excellent organizational skills

• Self - starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Detail oriented
