The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is recruiting a full-time Research Assistant or Senior Research Assistant. Rank is commensurate with experience. Essential Functions Perform daily research experiments. Data acquisition and analysis. Assist in animal colony management and animal husbandry. Apply research principles for various assignments. Accomplish assigned results for projects/studies, or for significant aspects of larger, complex assignments. Assist in establishing test controls, criteria and research standards. Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time. Minimum Requirements Research Assistant: Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience Additional related work experience may be required depending on field or discipline. - OR - Senior Research Assistant: Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience Three (3) years of relevant experience. Additional related work experience may be required depending on field or discipline.
