Our client is an industry/global leader in fragrances as well as taste. Their sole purpose is to provide customers with a broad range of solutions that meet the demand for clean, organic, and natural ingredients. This company is looking for an Associate Quality Lab Analyst to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies in the flavor and fragrances industry.

Pay : $23/hr

Schedule : M-F (7:30a-4p)

Requirements:

  • Vocational diploma (pre-university) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related discipline, University degree preferred.

  • 1-2 years of industry experience preferred.

  • Operational experience and strong affinity on laboratory systems, analytical equipment, and instruments such as weighing balance, Densitometer, Refractometer, Moisture balances, Karl Fischer titrator, Sieve testing equipment, GC.

  • Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Passing initial sensory screening/qualification test

  • Participate in local training sessions

  • Learning and Performing Sample Preparation and Participation on all types of sensory session/panel

  • Ability to evaluate raw materials, finished goods, and intermediates while providing basic descriptors

  • Participate on the global round robin test

  • Documents and communicates non-conformances to higher level Quality personnel

  • Working towards being a junior taster

  • Work in accordance with all relevant requirements including, but not limited to GMP,

  • Food Safety, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelines

  • Responsible for Food Safety compliance
