The College of Medicine, Office of Continuing Medical Education is recruiting a full-time Program Manager. This position will manage, design, develop, modify, and present programs and support the University's mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities. Essential Functions Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations. Implement policies and procedures. Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports. Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations. May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials. May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time. Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience Three (3) years of relevant experience. Physical Requirements/Work Environment Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
