About the College The Center for Student Involvement provides a vibrant Bearcat community through advocacy, engagement, education, and inclusion. Job Overview The Program Manager for Student Organizations is a full-time professional staff member in the Center for Student Involvement (CSI). They provide support for registered student organization (RSO) operations, create and implement trainings for RSO advisors, and advise the University Funding Board as well as serve on the Undergraduate Student Government advising team. They will advise the University Funding Board that allocates over $400,000 to more than 300+ registered student organizations (RSOs) and the Undergraduate Student Government Treasurer.Manage, design, develop, modify, and present programs.The program manager will provide additional registered student organization support including risk management, training for students and advisors. Essential Functions Advising * Serve as advisor for the University Funding Board (UFB): student board that facilitates budget allocations to 300+ RSOs * Serve as advisor to various Undergraduate Student Government leaders * Weekly one on one meetings with student leaders * Attend weekly evening meetings Registered Student Organization Funding * Primary oversight of the finance tools in Engage, student engagement system * Work with UFB, CSI Staff, and financial administrators to establish clear financial guidelines for student organizations * Update funding request forms and supplementary documents * Work in collaboration with financial administrators to ensure proper budget allocation andsupplementary documents * Work in collaboration with financial administrators to ensure proper budget allocation and processing * Conduct assessment practices for funding process * Oversee the off-campus bank account process for RSOs * Provide training to student organization treasurers, presidents, and advisors about the funding process * Provide targeted support to Tribunal leaders and advisors Registered Student Organization Support * Support RSO travel tracking and risk management * Support student organization members and advisors through trainings in in collaboration with Assistant Director * Develop and oversee student learning outcome integration and assessment plans for various office programs Center for Student Involvement * Manage operational expenses within an established budget * Assist with coordination/execution of student employee trainings * Assist in efforts to achieve annual CSI office-wide goals * Other duties as discussed Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
