This collegial group is dedicated to developing individualized mentoring plans for junior faculty members. As a national and international referral center, the division provides comprehensive services for a wide range of pediatric gastrointestinal diseases, from the simplest to the most complex cases. Faculty members are appointed at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have both inpatient hospital-based care and outpatient ambulatory services for children with digestive disorders, working within our pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition departments. Responsibilities will include rotating every other week in an outpatient satellite clinic and providing inpatient gastroenterology and consultation services for 5 to 10 weeks per year. Additionally, there will be opportunities to participate in the training and education of residents, fellows, and other trainees. There may also be opportunities to be involved in one of the many centers and programs of excellence within the Division. Based on the candidate's clinical, administrative, and research qualifications, including any independent grant funding they possess when starting a position at Cincinnati Children's, additional protected time may be available. Applicant Requirements: * M.D. or D.O. or equivalent medical degree * Completion of an accredited 3-year pediatric gastroenterology fellowship training program in the US or Canada or on track to complete an accredited 3-year pediatric gastroenterology fellowship training program. * Board Board-eligible (BE) or board-certified (BC) in Pediatric Gastroenterology by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
