The Patient Accounting Representative position will work in our Insurance Follow Up Department, pursuing payment on unpaid insurance claims. The role will communicate via phone and website portals with payors.Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate's Degree. | LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: N/A. | Minimum Required: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications.Assists the manager in all daily activities associated with the collection function. Responsible for collection on outstanding Insurance claims. Collection will be accomplished by conventional phone system and website portals and will require disputing denials with Insurance payors as needed. Revenue Cycle Performance Productivity Quality Reviews Other duties as assignedAssists the manager in all daily activities associated with the collection function.
