The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking Part-Time Research Assistant. The Research Assistant will assist with the completion of research studies, makes independent contributions to projects and studies based on professional training or functional experience. Essential Functions Complete all general research and study specific training for assigned studies, including IATA training, blood born pathogens training, or others as needed. Effective communication with research manager through email or in person Exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to work with the stroke patient population Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work within clinical epidemiology and trial databases which would include data entry, quality control checks, and database management. Perform experiments and record data according to research protocols. Interpret data and assist in judging validity of data. May perform statistical and graphical analysis of data. Apply research principals for less complex assignments. Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time. Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Additional Qualifications Considered REDCAP, Excel, SAS/SPSS experience.
