UC HEALTH LLC OB Technician, Labor & Delivery, Full-Time, 12 Hour PM in CINCINNATI, Ohio

Location: UC Medical Center Department: Labor and Delivery Hours: 36 hours/week Shift: 12 hour PM 7p-7a UC Health is hiring a Full-Time OB Technician for the labor & delivery department for 12 Hour PM shift at UC Medical Center. The Labor & Delivery OB Technician will support UC Medical Center's Labor & Delivery unit. They will be delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to assist in a circulator role under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. ``` - High school graduate or GED required. - BLS certification- within 60 days of hire - STNA preferred; successful passage of 80 hours of State Tested Nurse Aide Training; 40 hours of Acute Medical-Surgical Training, Specialty Training and Hospital Specific Training or a Student from an NLN accredited RN program having successfully completed one Medical-Surgical rotation or another acute rotation. - 1-2 years Medical Assistant or previous operating room preferred.
