We're looking for a North America Risk Officer to join our ever-evolving Risk team to help us unleash the potential of every business. Are you ready to make your mark? Then you sound like a Worldpayer. About the team Our Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit teams ensure we're doing business the right way. They help us balance a healthy risk appetite, so we're empowered to expand our horizons. The Operational Risk Management team works collaboratively with the business and throughout the Company to mitigate risk while supporting responsible growth of Worldpay. We're a diverse team with the potential to have a significant positive impact both internally and for our clients. What you'll own Partnering with key stakeholders to address complex local issues, considering and prioritizing risk-reward decisions Communicating effectively and professionally with Executive and Senior stakeholders Exercising sound judgment in assessing potential risks; whilst working within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework Monitoring and escalating issues to the relevant stakeholders Serve as an escalation point Present risk assessment results to the NA Boards Where you'll own it You'll own it in our Cincinnati or Atlanta hub. While we're a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person. What you bring 6+ Years experience Experience with sound risk management practices including evaluation of risk and controls. Experience of the local risk management requirements of each jurisdiction Ability to effectively prioritize time to support business objectives. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders of all levels. Effective communication skills and attention to detail Unmatched work ethic and strong sense of ownership Ability to creatively solve problems and achieve company objectives.
