POSITION SUMMARY As part of the Extended Leadership Team, the Maintenance Manager is a high-visibility role responsible for maintenance department personnel in facilities maintenance and equipment maintenance for terminal operations (barge, rail, truck, manufacturing, storage tanks) and an adjacent building (corporate headquarters/warehouse). The Maintenance Manager communicates across business functions, internal and external to the immediate site, and includes customer-facing communications. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education, Credentials, Licenses: BA in Engineering or technical discipliner or a combination of education and experience Kind & Length of Experience: 5 years proven experience in a Maintenance Manager role required Demonstrated understanding of Preventative Maintenance Program required Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills required Strong working knowledge of MPS Software usage required Proven maintenance leadership in a contract manufacturing environment preferred Formal CI Training/Certification and/or demonstrated experience preferred Experience in a customer-facing role preferred Proven experience in change management experience preferred Leading a Maintenance Team in a 24/7 environment preferred PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS Train and develop direct reports to their fullest potential to support organizational needs, including maintenance and refinement of the department's tiered training system; Develop and maintain the maintenance masterplan to increase overall equipment effectiveness to support organizational growth; Reduce unplanned downtime through the implementation and sustainment of a facility-wide, culture changing, formalized Total Productive Maintenance program; Lead (Project Manage) the justification, purchase, installation, validation, training, start-up, and on-going support of equipment upgrades and new equipment purchases; Improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) through focused improvements; Lead, facilitate, and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) locally and across the global manufacturing network; Develop and execute a robust and comprehensive computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), including spare parts inventory management; Manage cost-effective maintenance programs through operational and capital expenditure spending to optimally maintain all assigned facilities and equipment; Lead, facilitate, and support other continuous improvement initiatives as the organization requires to achieve the organization's masterplan, which heavily emphasizes stability to prepare for growth; Communicate improvements to customer in virtual and face-to-face meetings, as requested; Align assigned team with organizational objectives through key performance indicator development and maintain focus through daily huddles, one-on-ones, and other meetings, as necessary; Maximize team's productivity and overall equipment effectiveness through maintenance planning; Participate in company's safety and quality programs to maintain readiness for internal and external audits (e.g., OSHA, HAACP, SQF, ISO, food safety, halal, kosher), inclusive of internal auditing; Review Management of Change documents to ensure maintenance team continues to support organization and support Management of Change initiatives through direct action; Directly
