Position : Lead Business Analyst / Project Mgr - Automation & AI

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for spearheading Automation and AI initiatives within multiple business units (BUs) and works closely with the business units to capture, consolidate, and communicate the project-related information to the vendor's IT staff. The Lead PM/BA is critical in ensuring that the business requirements are appropriately defined, prioritized, and communicated to the fulfillment organization (Vendor IT Staff, Internal Development Staff, etc.)

Through the projects and support provided to the business, the Lead PM/BA- Automation and AI will help the company to achieve the goals and objectives of the business. This position will manage the work of vendors and various subject matter experts.

Essential Functions:

  • Working in the business to identify tangible opportunities to automate manual processes via technology (ex. RPA)

  • Coordinate and Lead implementation of automation projects, including pilots and proof of concepts.

  • This function also includes project management and requirements definition. Coordinate, direct, and supervise the work activities of vendors, consultants, and employees on IT projects that span a number of applications and/or business units Measuring results after implementation of new automation & artificial intelligence

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with key stakeholders to identify and qualify potential areas of opportunity.

  • Successfully interact with IT service providers to facilitate the delivery of services in accordance with the needs of the business and IT, while being cognizant of the business resources and financial constraints

  • Champion the interests, challenges, and constraints of IT to the business

  • Ensure effective and transparent communication between the business and IT service providers

  • Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the IT delivery process for all ongoing initiatives to ensure that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed business expectations.

  • Track and report on benefits realization and customer satisfaction levels in an effort to drive better business performance.

Education:

​​Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent​

Relevant Work Experience:

  • ​​5 to 7 years in related field​

  • Minimum seven years of recent experience developing and deploying IT solutions preferably with recent experience in AI

  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget

  • Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff on new software.

  • Understanding of AI: cognitive computing, large scale machine learning and other emerging technologies

  • Teamwork, written and verbal communication skills, vendor management, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and financial analysis Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and mentor others

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have employee direct reports but does serve as a "lead" role for others doing similar work​
