For more information, please visit our website atwww.sunchemical.comor connect with us onLinkedInorTwitter Job Title - Key Account Manager Sales Location - Eastern or Central US As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to maximize sales and profitability within a portfolio of designated key accounts, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and ensuring customer satisfaction to achieve long-term business growth. You will do this through developing a deep understanding of business needs and organizational dynamics and aligning Sun Chemical solutions and resources and proactively identifying new opportunities and excellent customer service;acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts, negotiating contracts, organizing and leading organizational teams and resources to ensure customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Establishing and nurturing deep, trusting relationships with key clients at all levels within their organizations. Having comfort and experience with C-Suite Engagement and Interactions. Developing comprehensive account plans for each key client, outlining sales strategies, growth opportunities, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Regularly track key account metrics, including sales revenue, customer satisfaction and market share and competitive activity. Acting as a trusted advisor to key clients, Identifying and presenting tailored solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives, including opportunities to upselling and cross-selling within existing positions. Proactively identifying and addressing customer concerns, resolving issues promptly and effectively. Conducting regular customer visits and meetings to understand their business needs, challenges, and strategic priorities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, customer service, regulatory, operations/supply chain) to ensure seamless customer experience. Influencing and Leading field resources (local sales, customer technical service, and inplants) in alignment and support of account strategies and needs. Managing the sales cycle, including proposal development, presentations, and closing deals.Leading sales negotiations and contract renewals, securing mutually beneficial terms. Preparing detailed sales reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key trends and insights. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Proven track record of success with at least 5 years in B2B sales, with a focus on managing large, complex accounts.
