What We Offer: Health benefits, including telehealth medical services, Dental & Vision Life, AD&D & Disability (paid for by the company) 401K with a company match Safe & clean work environment The primary function of this position is assembling electronic control panels, distribution panels, generator end enclosures and control devices using components, such as switches, relays, transformers, engine and generator controls, wire harnesses and mounting brackets, as laid out in drawings, wiring diagrams and verbal or written instructions. Essential Duties: Performs electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework. Some test and repair of various electronic products and mechanical assemblies Utilizes schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, engineering drawings, wire lists, etc., and needs to be able to look at electrical blueprints and scan them for possible issues prior to installation. Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure equipment. Installs electrical components such as terminal blocks, governor controllers, voltage regulators, Speed switches, voltage sensing controllers, watt transducers, current transformers, relay assemblies, fuse assemblies, time delay circuits, transformers, power terminal block assemblies, circuit breakers, jumpers and wire harnesses Connects lead wires to ohmmeter, or other electronic testing equipment to test connections for continuity, resistance, shorts and grounds in accordance with the wiring diagram Completes various panels by installing lights, receptacles, gauges, various electronic instruments, legends and instruction labels in accordance with diagrams, drawings written and oral instructions Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization Adheres to all quality and safety standards Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred, Associate's degree or Vocational school certificate in electrical preferred but not required Minimum five years of electrical systems experience, 7+ years preferred. Experience with hand and power tools required Knowledge of phase coloring: Ability to identify different gauges of wire Experience with EMI Connectors and building cables: Knowledge of low voltage wiring 24Volt AC/DC Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, engineering drawings, etc. Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary Disclaimer: This job description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities required for this role.
