Director of Environmental Services position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping and laundry services to ensure facility standards. Staff in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
Director of Environmental Services Key Duties:
Conducts environmental facility rounds, ensures full compliance with standards of cleanliness.
Supervise staff, including training and performance evaluations.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain cleanliness and infection control standards.
Perform other job-related duties as required.
Director of Environmental Services Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prior skilled long-term care or hospital experience preferred.
Minimum of 3 years environmental services or housekeeping and laundry experience.
Knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations and the survey process.
