Job Overview The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Cincinnati is seeking a highly skilled and strategic professional to serve as the Director of Admissions, Strategic and Transformative Initiatives Enrollment Management. Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Admissions, the Director will be responsible for supporting the execution of key strategies across the admissions teams. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and leading change management initiatives to foster organizational transformation. This Director will serve as the primary College Liaison, supporting the newly created engagement framework to enhance communication and collaboration between Central Admissions and academic colleges. Essential Functions Responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of admissions programs; formulate, recommend, approve, and implement internal procedures and controls; set goals to achieve strategic objectives; cross-departmental strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the University's long-term goals, such as expanding enrollment to 60,000 students by 2030. Responsible for the development and tracking of KPIs for operational efficiency, project completion, student recruitment outcomes, and leading high-priority admissions projects, ensuring successful completion by coordinating efforts across multiple teams. Responsible for collaborating efforts with administrative and academic units and participating in cross-functional policy development and execution that enrich the student experience; formulate, approve, and communicate major policy changes affecting other departments with the authority to grant exceptions. Building relationships with key stakeholders and other departments. Manage day-to-day operations for the admissions office, streamlining processes to improve team efficiency as the primary liaison between Central Admissions and academic colleges, ensuring clear communication and collaboration on student recruitment strategies that support the engagement framework to streamline requests and interactions between admissions and college partners. Develop, implement, and monitor department budget; authority for budget, revenue, and expense planning and approving expenditure; has signature authority for programs or functions within their department; oversees the budget and prepares reports and assessments of company operations and identifies areas of improvement. Interpreted and disseminated information, provided advice, wrote proposals, delivered presentations, constructed contractual agreements, and ensured that all programs and services comply with university, state, and federal regulations. May communicate and assist students, parents, and corporate partners resolve questions and complex issues; represent the university internally and externally.
