Description

We are offering a contract opportunity for a Database Developer in the Manufacturing sector. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for designing and creating database structures for an internal Inventory Management - Projected Stock System. You will be instrumental in ensuring the system can handle high and frequent loads efficiently.

REMOTE WORK OPPORTUNITY

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement MSSQL databases to meet system needs, including integration and performance expectations.

• Write efficient database queries using MSSQL to ensure fast performance.

• Configure database servers and processes, including system health and performance monitoring, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

• Use database analytical tools to analyze performance and generate reports.

• Adhere to best industry practices for database design and development.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant data security procedures.

• Work as part of a broader team to design and create suitable database structures for quickly and efficiently storing and retrieving relevant data for the system.

• Create fast and efficient database queries, including joining and cross-referencing cells from several tables.

• Utilize advanced knowledge of database procedures and Microsoft SQL Server concepts.

• Use standard database management tools and software.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years experience in the field of database development

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft SQL Server

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement database structures

• Capable of writing and optimizing SQL queries

• Proven track record in database development utilizing MS SQL Server

• Practical understanding of industry standards and best practices in database development

• Able to work collaboratively within a team and also independently when necessary

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
