Our audiologists are specially trained to evaluate, treat, and manage hearing loss and balance care for patients from birth to 21 years of age. Our team of experts uses an evidence-based diagnostic approach and works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, speech pathologists, developmental pediatricians, and otolaryngologists (Ear, Nose and Throat physicians - ENTs), to ensure children receive the individualized care he or she needs. We are dedicated to educating and empowering patients and families to ensure they have the information and technology required to optimize communication skills and educational outcomes. The Division of Audiology is recruiting a Clinical Assistant II at the Green Township location. This job will work Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Patient and Room Preparation- Support clinician in room preparation, patient preparation for appointments, and patient care activities within scope of practice. May clean and maintain equipment, order inventory, and restock supplies. May perform procedures, collect data, analyze data, and inform clinical decisions regarding patient care, including initial screening, assessment, diagnosis, prognosis, care and reassessment. Ensures work areas are organized and safe. May respond and follow up with referrals and inquiries from patient families, efficiently and effectively resolving issues. * Data Management II- Develop/design/create, evaluate, restructure, and/or manage specific database(s). Input and ensure the integrity of data and/or records. Standardize and document processes. May coordinate data collection. May conduct data analysis, create reports, and disseminate to the appropriate individuals. * Administrative Support II- Provide administrative oversight and assistance for departmental operations and programs. Oversee recurring events and projects relating to staff employee matters. Assist with special projects, reports, and assignments. * Compliance - Patient Services Staff- Sustain a working understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Support leadership in compliance efforts to meet and sustain the regulatory compliance efforts of the department and hospital. Be mindful and judicious in monitoring safety and departmental policies and procedures. Ensure all individual certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled in a timely basis. Work with department managers, nurse council and magnet representatives to identify and share safety best practices.
