Job Description
The Business Analyst will be a part of the Business Intelligence team, reporting to the Manager of Analytics and Operations Data. This individual will play a pivotal role in assuring the operational readiness of the C&W Services team, through analyzing/visualizing KPIs, automating current practices, and innovating solutions to help capture new information.
This will be a fully remote position located on the east coast or central region.
Compensation: $85,000-$95,000, based on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Unified Insights – Unleashing the full potential of abundant data requires integrating and standardizing information from multiple systems to generate a cohesive and comprehensive view that can be easily visualized for actionable insights.
Solutions Design – Foster solutions design innovation by exploring new methodologies, tools, and techniques in data analysis to identify creative and effective approaches for addressing complex business challenges and driving meaningful outcomes.
Automate - Utilize current Power Platforms and Office 365 tools (Excel Macros, Power Automate, PowerBI) to develop automated processes for all business units on the team account (Operations, Safety, Finance, etc.).
Tell a Story – Develop interactive dashboards, infographics, and visual reports that provide clear and concise representations of complex data sets, catering to individuals across a wide range of skillsets and backgrounds.
Client Centric – Support client KPI reviews with analysis and insights, driving data-driven discussions for optimizing client experiences and achieving business objectives.
Document – Considering the multitude of solutions and strategies to be implemented, it is crucial to have comprehensive documentation readily available for end users.
Teamwork – Build relationships with members from all teams and understand problems that can be fixed with automation or data.
Train – Teach engaged associates skills to increase the team’s technical abilities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study such as industrial engineering, data analytics, computer science, or operations research.
4-7 years of experience with operations research or data analytics.
Proficient in Excel (Tables, Power Query, etc.).
Experience with PowerBI (or similar BI tool).
Experience with data extraction with either SQL or Power Query.
Passion for constantly learning and/or changing skillsets to solve problems.
Ability to present and communicate effectively with end users.
Must be able to work independently and adapt to change.
Familiar with the overall ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process with data.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Office 365 Tools/Power Platforms (Power Automate, PowerApps, Teams).
Experience gathering user requirements from end users.
Ability to determine the level of effort to deliver and support a solution.
Exposure to analytics coding (VBA for Excel, R, Python).
Able to perform well despite complex or ambiguous challenges.
Proficiency in Data Modeling using tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Dataverse, SQL databases, or similar platforms.
Experience in supply chain or warehouse operations.
Proficiency with AI and machine learning tools and techniques

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $80,750.00 - $95,000.00
