Advantage xPO is hiring a new Building Services Technician with at least two years of related experience. Pay rate: $20 - $23 per hour Schedule: 9:00am - 5:30pm (may vary as needed) Building Services Technician responsibilities: Perform on-demand work orders (WOs) and scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) and inspections. Handle tasks such as meeting room setups, furniture moves, carpet stain treatments, basic lighting, plumbing, and HVAC work. Collaborate with the Office Service Coordinator to share responsibilities and provide support. Work with service providers and employees to identify and resolve issues effectively. Communicate with team members, internal staff, and external customers to ensure smooth operations. Provide office support services as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience or training; Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Drywall, or Handyman experience is a plus. Valid driver's license required. Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficient in basic hand tool and power tool operation with a foundational understanding of building operating systems.
