Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our IDEAS team, providing expert support across all software development projects. In this pivotal role, you will drive our ongoing transition to the cloud by developing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery. Your responsibilities will also include implementing critical security fixes, proactively monitoring for vulnerabilities, managing SSL certificates, and organizing comprehensive monitoring systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in ongoing audit processes, ensuring our infrastructure remains secure and compliant. Work is hybrid (currently a minimum of one day a week on the main Clifton campus), and there is a weekend on-call rotation. Essential Functions Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, and APImOps. Implement security fixes and actively monitor systems for vulnerabilities. Oversee on-prem and cloud-based GitHub infrastructure and repositories. Manage and maintain environments across platforms such as AEM, Sitefinity, Windows servers, Azure web apps, and AWS. Organize and set up monitoring systems to ensure infrastructure security. Handle SSL certificate installation, updates, and requests. Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues. Document processes, workflows, and environment configurations. Provide cross-training and serve as a resource for other team members. Participate in an on-call rotation for weekend coverage. Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Skills & Experience Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, and cloud/on-prem GitHub. Solid understanding of security best practices and vulnerability management. Proficiency in working with Linux, Apache, IIS, and C# (.NET Core/Framework). Experience in transitioning infrastructure to the cloud and setting up monitoring systems. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers. Experience with cloud services, specifically Azure and AWS. Strong knowledge of maintaining and deploying environments for platforms like AEM, Sitefinity, and Windows servers. Experience with SSL certificate management. Excellent time management, the ability to work independently, and effective collaboration and cross-training among team members.
