About the Department UC Testing Services supports our communities' educational and professional goals by offering secure and convenient testing solutions. Job Overview UC Testing Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to manage and oversee a variety of testing services' functions. This on-campus, in-person role requires availability from Tuesday to Saturday 8:00 am-4:30 pm. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for organizing various types of tests, including vendor tests, UC make-up tests, online testing, and placement testing. The ideal candidate should be skilled in handling complex clerical and technical administrative tasks. Additionally, they must provide excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students, and community members to ensure smooth and efficient testing operations. Essential Functions Coordinate Testing Services: Oversee the scheduling and administration of various tests, including vendor tests, UC make-up tests, online assessments, and placement exams. Administrative Duties: Perform complex clerical and technical administrative tasks to support testing operations, including maintaining records, managing test materials, and ensuring compliance with policies. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and community members regarding testing services, providing information and resolving issues as needed. Communication: Facilitate effective communication between testing services and stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely dissemination of information related to testing schedules, procedures, and updates. Collaboration: Work closely with the Program Director and other team members to develop, implement, and refine testing procedures and policies. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of testing activities and assist in preparing reports related to test administration and outcomes. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to test administration or irregularities, ensuring a smooth testing experience for all participants. Office Support: Provide administrative support and oversight during designated hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Required Education Associate's degree Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience Two (2) years of related experience Required Trainings/Certifications N/A Additional Qualifications Considered Weekend availability preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Comfortability troubleshooting technology.
