Quality Engineering Specialist

Job Duties

• Evaluate quality assurance methods of suppliers and in-house processes.

• Analyze supplier non-conformance details, communicate details internally, and with suppliers.

• Provide technical direction to suppliers and departments for quality assessment and validate the results.

• Conduct thorough supplier audits and follow up with timely responses from suppliers.

• Manage suppliers’ quality corrective actions, monitoring timeliness, as well as overall effectiveness.

• Manage containment and sorts for supplier non-conformances.

• Implement internal quality measures to meet quality objectives.

• Foster a team environment to develop and implement best practices of defect prevention, reduction of waste, and provide continuous improvement activity.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor's Degree

• 3+ years in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering

• PPAP Requirements and Root Cause Analysis

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Santa Clara, Texas.

Work Environment

Large and new manufacturing facility. Must wear long sleeve shirts and pants. No jeans.
