Manufacturing Plant Manager Position

Job Description

The Manufacturing General Manager/Plant Manager is responsible for the manufacturing and production of complex automotive components that support the automotive industry. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining productive relationships with management and department managers to foster a successful production environment centered on quality and safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall production of quality products that meet the Company’s operational short- and long-term business goals.

• Engage and motivate management and team members to follow and adhere to Company objectives regarding quality, safety, environment, and information security.

• Evaluate and monitor operations' ability to meet production and regulatory standards and recommend corrective actions needed to meet Company operation goals.

• Oversee the manufacturing process of automotive transmissions and/or other automotive products that meet 100% of the Company’s quality standards.

• Lead manufacturing projects and influence team members to adhere to company environmental, health, and safety standards such as cleanliness, ergonomics, standard operating procedures, required maintenance and inspections of equipment, temperature, noise, and overall safe working conditions.

• Create, manage, and monitor the operations' financial goals such as manufacturing budgets, equipment, inventory, assets, profit, delivery, cost, scrap, manpower, additive value of products, etc.

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 10 years manufacturing experience

• Minimum 5 years manufacturing management experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a company with over 100 employees

• Ability to develop work standard manufacturing procedural documents

• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing industry, total quality management systems and best practices

• Leadership track record and good understanding of Servant Leadership concepts

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cibolo,TX.
