responsibilities:

Responsibilites:

• Design, install, and configure database systems to support business applications.

• Develop and implement database models, structures, and architecture.

• Monitor database performance and optimize queries and indexes for efficient data retrieval.

• Analyze and resolve database performance issues.

• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Perform regular backups and test restoration processes to ensure data can be recovered.

• Establish and maintain database security policies and procedures.

• Manage user access and permissions to ensure data confidentiality and compliance.

• Plan and execute data migration projects when upgrading or moving databases.

• Ensure data integration between various applications and databases.

• Provide technical support for database-related issues and serve as a point of contact for database inquiries.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database errors and failures.

• Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies.

• Generate reports on database performance, usage, and compliance for management review.

• Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other IT staff to support application development and deployment.

• Participate in database-related project planning and execution.
