The Buccaneer Hotel Security Gate Attendant in Christiansted, Virgin Islands

Scope and General Purpose: The Security Gate Attendant ensures all gate procedures and protocols are followed, thus ensuring the safety of every hotel visitor and employee. The Security Gate Attendant also greets each hotel visitor and employee in a warm and friendly manner upon entry and departure of the hotel. *[Main Duties: ]{lang="EN"}* - Greet all hotel visitors, vendors, contractors, residents, and hotel employees, directing them to their destinations on property. {=html} - Obtain name and license plate number of each guest entering the property; forward information obtained to the Front Office if needed. Record entry time of each employee and visitor to property and report information to Payroll and Benefits Manager as requested. {=html} - Ensure those employees or guests who are deemed as banned from the property do not enter. Follow through with emergency procedure of contacting the necessary law enforcement entities to remove individual(s) if required. - Hand-out material to guests and employees when asked to do so. {=html} - Answer telephone courteously and record visitor information appropriately. {=html} - Submit maintenance requests for issues such as electrical, sewer, and water break problems as needed. {=html} - Ensure enough office and first aid supplies are kept at the gate; notify Administrative Assistant when additional supplies are needed. - Attend all meetings and trainings as scheduled. [[ Greet all visitors, vendors, contractors, residents, and prospective buyers, directing them to their destinations. [[ Obtain name, license plate number, phone number, and email address of each non-resident/guest entering the community; forward information obtained to the Sales office to follow-up within 24 hours (if applicable). [[ Hand-out promotional material to prospective guests and residents. [[ Answer telephone courteously and record pre-call visitor information appropriately; prepare pre-call sheets for the following day. [[ Note all unusual occurrences on daily log sheets. [[ Submit maintenance requests for issues such as electrical, sewer, and water break problems as needed. [[ Ensure a sufficient amount of office supplies; notify manager when additional supplies are needed.
