An Operation Excellence Engineer is a position providing experience in operations, engineering and people management. This position serves as the leader for the development and coaching of the operation employees and operations team in an effective, value driven, performance based environment. For the role of project engineer, this position is responsible for managing capital projects, supporting daily plant operations, and develop employee competencies and skills.

What you will do

  • Creates, encourages, implements and maintains continuous plant operation and work system improvement to ensure that the plant’s overall performance is moving toward the manufacturing excellence concept

  • Continuous work on system improvement and developing systems for improving people such as people capability, training etc.

  • Strengthen the Operation Supervision with OTLs such as people discipline , people culture etc.

  • Develops the implementation plan and follow up to ensure the improvement success as planned such as the TEETH project

  • Support production department in Productivity Improvement of labor part

  • Monitors and control systems are part of the labor to effective the cost

  • Coordinate with related parties to set up a labor budget

  • Facilitates sharing of ideas, knowledge and best practices to improve people efficiency

  • Understands the linkages among supply/demand KPIs and the impact of tools improvement on those KPIs

  • Coordinates with all concerns, such as BA&HR for the labor efficiency improvement and people capability improvement, FP&R team for leverage FP&R culture

  • Performs other works related to duties as assigned by the Department Manager

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Industrial Engineering or related

  • At least 2 years Consumer Goods Industry Experience

  • At least 2 years Production Experience

  • Communication skills

  • Business presentation skills

  • Interpersonal communication skills, Self-Motivation, Process Leadership and Project Management Skills

  • Computer literacy (Google Tools, SAP QM, SCADA Program, Wonderware - Intouch - Inbatch etc.)

  • Good command of English communication (both writing and speaking)
