JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support lab testing of electric drive components and systems - performance and durability testing
Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew.
Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software.
Planning and documentation of laboratory based testing and validation
Setup and Execution of laboratory based testing
Data analysis and documentation of results
Inspection and documentation of Devices Under Tests (DUTs)
Collaboration with peer organizations such as component and system design, component controls, component virtual product development, and others.
Collaboration with laboratory support teams such as skilled trades, facility design, and facility controls.
Daily collaboration with other test engineers and technical experts
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering.
Must be a U.S citizen
0 - 5 years of Experience
Test Experience
Product Development Experience
Critical thinking
