Job Description:
This position supports the materials team to ensure Customer service and on time Delivery Metric with the effective elaboration of production plans coordinating sequences orders, reschedules, shipments to customer, finish goods inventory control and the production control activities.
Job Responsibilities:
S&OP- Sales & Operation Process, Demand, Production plan, shipping plan.
Preparation of Master plans Firm Orders and Forecast Review to determine Month Closing Sales (Sales projections), considering material restrictions.
Demand Analysis Vs Capacity line rates to convert them to MO (Manufacturing Orders)
Close communication with internal and external customers for the planning and execution of production.
Maintain finished product levels according to the customer required dates to achieve RDSL Metric.
Create orders in MRP IndustrIOS based on the loaded Sales Orders (Customer demand) and present planning programs.
Production Control of MO manufacturing orders of production plan.
Clear to build verification with buyers to view material availability dates and prepare the production schedule or reschedule.
Create recovery plans based on high priorities and material coverage.
Accountable for Finish Good and WIP inventory levels according to the Targets
Coordination with Warehouse and Production for sequence of Kitting required for Production plans.
Active interaction with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Engineering, Maintenance areas.
Attend both internal/external meeting where the Planner be required.
Maintain planning metrics at set levels.
Knowledge in ECN & RMA processes.
Participation in annual physical inventories, Analysis as required by the company.
Comply with the safety guidelines established by the company.
Meet the trainings, certifications needed in planning
Coordination of Shipments with Customers, Production, Warehouse for Sales Compliance.
Check inventories in final line process and packaging area.
Establish procedures for effective implementation in planning
Work on process improvements projects
Coordinate the implementation of New Products and Engineering Changes, related to the execution within the Materials Department Ensure all the tasks-activities before the product launch and the engineering changes are executed.

Authority:
It is the main contact with customers, receives and analyzes demand, determines the production program by model according to customer requirement, deliver the Production Plan, Sales projection, and ensure shipments in a timely manner to customers.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and / or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing and materials environment.
Experience required on production planning and production control for discrete orders.
Analytical approach to problem solving
Working knowledge of ERP-MRP functionality (Industrios, SAP, Oracle, JDE, other),
Bilingual English-Spanish.
Effective communication skills.
Strong Leadership skills and teamwork
Excellent Computer Skills (excel, word and Power Point)
Preferred Qualifications:
APICS Certification preferred
