Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Microsoft Power Apps Developer and SharePoint Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom business applications using Power Apps, SharePoint platforms and other components within the Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and transform them into scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Custom Power Apps Solutions: Design and build custom apps using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) to meet business needs.

  • Power Platform Integration: Work with Power Automate, SharePoint, Power BI, and Dataverse to integrate apps with data sources and automate workflows.

  • Application Support: Provide ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and support for existing Power Apps and SharePoint solutions.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements, create specifications, and develop solutions that meet business objectives.

  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality assurance processes are in place for all Power Apps applications and SharePoint sites.

  • Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, including system design and integration specifications, user guides, and best practices.

  • Training and Adoption: Assist in training business users and providing technical support to drive user adoption and satisfaction.

  • Stay Current with Microsoft Updates: Continuously explore new features, tools, and technologies related to Microsoft Power Platform, staying informed about updates and changes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in developing applications using Power Apps.

  • Strong experience in Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.

  • Experience with SharePoint Online.

  • Experience integrating Power Apps with external data sources (SharePoint, SQL, etc.).

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Canvas and Model-driven apps.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI).

  • Understanding of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, C#, HTML, SQL) and relational databases.

  • Experience with Azure services and APIs is a plus.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

  • Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform or Power Apps certification is preferred but not required.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
