As the driving force behind the manufacturing processes for golf ball \"Finishing\" operations - including surface preparation, decoration, and protective coating application - you\'ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards while pushing the boundaries of innovation. This role is your opportunity to be a technical leader, creating and maintaining essential work instructions and technical documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams like R&D, Product Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and QA/QC. You\'ll be at the helm of new product commercialization, working to improve existing processes, execute capital projects, and deliver tangible results in quality, efficiency, and cost savings. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Proficient in MS Office products, MS Project, and Minitab or comparable statistical analysis programs Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies a plus EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors of Science in Engineering (Materials or Mechanical) with a focus on understanding materials and their applications. Minimum 2 years\' supervisory experience Experience with SPC dashboards to monitor quality and set reaction plans for quality trends is also desired. Experience two-component polyurethane protective coatings, specifically the application of coatings, and solid understanding of challenges associated with printing on plastic surfaces. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable) The employee may be intermittently exposed to fumes or airborne particles The employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time. The employee will utilize office equipment considered to be normal such as printers, laptops and tablets as examples. Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs.
