Position Summary

Operations, Talent, and Solutions Lead

The Operations, Talent & Solutions Lead will serve as the overall leader for the Workday capability team focused on strategic resource planning and development; talent development; global delivery model; tool, methodology and solutions development. This role will have primary responsibility for maximizing overall operating income and creating operational efficiencies. The Operations, Talent and Solution Lead manages the Persona Talent and Solution Leads and reports directly to the Workday Global Leader.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Talent – approximately 50%

  • Work closely with the leadership team and HR Business Partner to maintain a high performing culture by driving strategic and proactive talent processes and programs that align with the business and people strategy.

  • Drive efforts around strategic capacity planning, factoring in current engagement needs, attrition, and future opportunities to support overall team growth.

  • Work with Persona Talent Leads to identify critical skill gaps and develop strategies to cross, and /or upskill existing talent to meet business needs.

  • Maintain partnerships with Recruiting to support hiring needs to meet current and projected business demands.

  • Lead across global people team, ensuring alignment with region leadership and adjusting practices for unique region/country elements to enable a global growth strategy.

  • In partnership with Human Resources facilitate performance and compensation review processes

  • Drive the development of measurable and impactful programs with an objective of increasing employee engagement and maintaining a highly skilled consulting workforce.

  • Serve as the escalation point for critical staffing requests and challenges.

  • Work closely with Human Resources to implement and manage performance improvement plans to address specific performance concerns.

  • Work with Persona Leads to develop and enhance their leadership skills and abilities.

Solutions and Operations– approximately 40%

  • Drive business utilization and profitability by managing workforce through staffing and performance management processes.

  • Oversee the execution of programs and processes to assist with successful adoption and delivery of methodology, accelerators, and solutions.

  • Partner with Industry Leads to ensure project profitability through delivery excellence and optimal resourcing.

  • Manage Persona Solution Leads to drive innovation and thought leadership.

  • Review, evaluate and approve requests for all new initiatives and solutions.

  • Proactively provide insight, guidance, and leadership to team on organizational design, change management and/or people challenges related to growth, acquisitions, or the development of new businesses and business models.

  • Ensure core processes are effective and scalable as needed across the business, maintaining value, accuracy, and data-driven insights.

  • Navigate a highly matrixed organization understanding how the different pieces fit together across Digital and Industry that build and maintain strong relationships across key stakeholders.

  • Oversee and manage the Workday enablement programs for solutions and geographies.

  • Serve as the liaison for Huron Enterprise for resources, product knowledge and future state business process support for Huron’s implementation of Workday.

Market – approximately 10%

  • Continue to stay relevant in market by:

  • Serving as an Executive Project Sponsor

  • Participating in Sales Cycles

  • Participating in industry/technology conferences

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Sr Director, Principal or Managing Director

  • Prior experience leading large teams and managing projects at the executive level.

  • Ability to lead and manage global teams.

  • Experience developing talent strategies and executing plans aligned with the culture and overall employee experience to drive business outcomes.

  • Experience in solutions and/or product development

  • Inspirational, authentic leader who engages with employees across the organization to inspire an atmosphere and culture in which people want to innovate, develop and grow their career.

  • Highly strategic with excellent business and people judgement. Understands the business and value drivers, makes key decisions to align the organization and talent to deliver to objectives.

  • Builder mentality: always looking to iterate and improve existing programs and implement new approaches. Entrepreneurial, hands-on leader, who can roll up their sleeves.

  • Highly motivated, dynamic leader with outstanding performance standards, instilling confidence in others and their work.

  • Easily forms relationships and partners across all levels of the organization working with humility, building trust, and possessing a strong EQ.

  • Strong communicator with gravitas at the executive level and throughout the organization. Able to understand, influence, and generate consensus at the highest levels and across the business to move through periods of change.

  • Ability to remain thoughtful and focused under pressure, can prioritize most impactful opportunities, pivot as needed, and work to results.
