Job Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and/ or MicroStation to conduct preliminary and final designs for private and public sector clients.

• Work with the engineering team to plan and design a wide variety of engineering projects.

• Occasional field visits to provide construction observation/ reporting/ surveying.

• Assist with stormwater permitting plans and hydrologic modeling with HEC-RAS or HEC-HMS.

• Will work on environmental restoration and infrastructure improvement projects including stormwater and flood management projects, shoreline and streambank projects, water quality projects, municipal streets, sanitary and storm sewer systems, soil erosion and sediment control, and water distribution.

Additional Details

• BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field.

• 4 years of water resource experience in a professional setting.

• Strong interest/ passion to specialize in civil engineering but with a water resources/ natural resources interest.

• Strong knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/ or MicroStation.

• Familiar with HEC-HMS and/ or HEC-RAS.

• Hard working and eager to learn and develop their technical skills.

• EIT is highly preferred or ability to obtain it in next few months is required.
