We are looking for a highly motivated Traveling Safety Manager, who is passionate about the construction process to join our Chicago team. At ARCO, every associate is empowered to drive their success. You’ll be responsible for site safety initiatives from day one!

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Conduct regular safety inspections of assigned projects and publish reports for internal improvement and compliance
Educate and train associates on health and safety related issues
Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Subcontractors to ensure compliance with various safety polices
Attend preconstruction meetings and other project meetings as required
Support field personnel by applying problem solving to changing conditions
Conduct formal investigations in work related incidents to determine cause and corrective actions
Maintain a current knowledge base of Local, State, and Federal safety and health regulations
Conduct training to individuals and groups on a variety of risk management subjects
Oversee safety on projects during high-risk scopes as needed
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
3-7 years' of Safety and Health Experience preferred
Construction and Concrete Experience is preferred
Industrial lift truck (forklift) Certified Trainer is desirable
BS in Occupational Health and Safety or closely related field
ASP/CSP certification(s) preferred
Possess and maintain a current, valid driver license in your state of residence
Must be willing to travel approximately 3-4 days/week (Monday - Friday) to Construction Project Sites Nationwide
