TPM/IL6S Specialist
This role is part of HPO strategy in North America and will be a key element for the cultural transformation and capability step up at the Chicago bakery. You will be responsible for supporting teams on deploying AM and PM tools across the bakery, tracking results, managing action plans and providing dashboards and analysis for business decisions. You will also contribute with employee’s skills improvement on HPO concepts and tools. Lastly, you will be a role model for High Performance Work Systems (HPWS) across the bakery, leading by example and making an impact to move the culture forward.
How you will contribute
You will:
Track execution and compliance against IL6S+HPO work processes, create KAI and KPIs to monitor progress.
Generate reports and dashboards for clear visibility of results. If results are off track, be part of the team to assess results and propose actions.
Provide training on AM/PM tools and techniques to help drive teams through HPO activities (DMS, SGA, 5S, CIL, etc.). You will also coach employees to help them achieve their targets
Actively Participate in pillar meetings and contribute to pillar actions plans and connections with the shop floor.
Partner with operations and maintenance (shift lead, AM line lead, PM lead) to implement AM and PM work processes across the bakery.
Identify process improvement needs with department leads, facilitate sessions, and support execution of newly established improvements.
Benchmark externally, ensuring where relevant that best practices and new tools are deployed in collaboration with internal partners.
Identifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions.
Partner with other areas to propose, develop a business case, and implement digital tools and processes to simplify and eliminate non-value-added activities.
Be a pillar member and own a process inside the Pillar – Complete your pillar qualification in 90 days, deploy the Standard for the process that you own, the Training material, implement it at the Model line and enable the Line team to manage the process line level.

Experience implementing CI processes (e.g. TPM for manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma in the consumer goods industry)

More about this role
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree concentration in Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field
IL6S Green Belt is preferred.
Job specific requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience leading Lean Manufacturing, TPM, HPWS tools/processes.
Practical experience with continuous improvement methodologies (basics of TPM, VSM, Makigami, Lean Manufacturing or similar)
Experience with change management; High Performance Working Systems is a plus.
Good working knowledge of supply chain / manufacturing (food production preferred but not required)
Solid knowledge of the at least 3 pillars, one of which must be AM.
Solid knowledge of Focused Improvement / Analytical Skills (RCA / BB)
Proven leadership experience
Results driven.
Work schedule:
Monday - Friday
Flexibility is required for weekend support.
Benefits and salary:
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $66,100 to $90,925; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
